Edge of Sanity is a super creepy survival horror game set in the wilds of Alaska, and it’s all done in this cool hand-drawn 2D art style. The game’s vibe is totally inspired by Cthulhu Mythos, so you can expect some seriously freaky creatures and a world that feels really messed up. It’s got this eerie unsettling atmosphere that sucks you right into the story. Every move feels risky, and you’re always on edge because something terrifying could pop up at any second.
You start off as part of a resupply team helping out scientists at this lab in the middle of nowhere. But when you get there, the place is totally empty and before you know it you’re running for your life from these insane monsters. You get separated from your group and somehow make it out alive, setting up a camp. Now it’s all about figuring out what went down at the lab and what’s coming after you. As you explore you’ll be digging through creepy caves old mines and hidden labs looking for anything you can use to survive. Food, supplies, it’s all scarce, so you gotta scavenge like crazy. While doing that you start to piece together clues about this shady group called PRISM and the freaky experiments they were up to. Every clue you find pulls you further into this crazy conspiracy, and it just gets more messed up the more you find out.
Surviving in Edge of Sanity isn’t just about staying alive physically. The stuff you go through messes with your head, and your character’s sanity is always on the edge. The wild environment, terrifying monsters, and barely any supplies are constantly pushing you to your limits. Every day’s a grind, and you’re stuck making tough choices that could either help you out or mess everything up even more. In the end, it’s up to you whether you keep it together or let the madness take over.
