The Last Soldier of the MD Shadow of Yamatai Overview
After a huge storm hits, Feng Haiping and his buddies, Liang Feng and Liang Yu, end up shipwrecked on a totally unknown shore after leaving Fuling Island. When Feng Haiping wakes up, he’s all alone and can’t find his friends anywhere. While he’s searching the beach for them, he comes across this ancient stone monument that says they’ve landed in the legendary lost kingdom of Yamatai, a place from old Wei and Jin dynasty records that’s been lost in history.
In the new Roguelike mode, players get to dive into this mysterious land and face off against all kinds of tough enemies in three randomly generated domains. Each playthrough is different and players will need to use powerful accessories that give big boosts when combined to handle the harder challenges. Yamatai’s map is now open with five brand-new domains to explore, each with its own unique vibe and challenges. This long-lost kingdom full of legends and secrets now has new places to discover and tough environmental obstacles to tackle. Each domain gives you a totally different vibe, making the adventure through this ancient and mysterious land way more awesome.
Players will also need to face off against five new bosses—yokai from Japanese folklore, like demons, spirits, and other creepy monsters. Each yokai has its own special powers and abilities so players need to be on their game and think strategically to beat them. Plus there are five new armor sets up for grabs, but you’ll need to win them in battle. The game’s armor has been updated too, with new features you can buy using copper coins earned in Roguelike mode. Beat the illusory images of the Last Soldier of the Ming Dynasty to unlock even more powerful sub-weapon skills and level up your combat skills.
